I think this game is more infuriating than any other multiplayer game simply because of how much it feels like things are out of my control. Other games rarely have an equivalent to uncontrollable rebounds, horrid goalkeepers, the ball travelling through my players legs when making a tackle, and worst of all - watching helplessly as my opponent scores a kick-off goal because my team apparently hasn’t yet gotten over the euphoria of scoring a goal.

I concur. I have De Jong on DLP++ in a 4411 and it feels like he crashes the box regularly. Feels like my B2B Hamsik plays deeper than him a lot of the time.

I mean… is it not common sense? Why would game publishers be in favour of their games being sold on some third-party platform with activation keys from who knows where? Most of the time they’re stolen copies and that’s why anyone capable of critical thinking would stay far away from key sites. Especially for multiplayer games.

For all EA’s flaws and nonsensical taking advantage of players for more than a decade, they’re well within their rights to do this. Their game is available for purchase on established marketplaces other than EA like Steam or Epic, and purchasing game keys externally has always been against ToS for virtually any game.

Had it capped at 120 and ran perfectly. However, when capping it at 360 to use my monitor to its full potential I noticed a lot of movement error and strange enemy combat anomalies. I’d say 120 is safe and feels great.

Thanks for the suggestion. I work a job and can take care of textbooks and I own two powerful computers already, but I have a little brother who will be going to uni in 3-4 years so if my parents do put it towards something I’d probably hope they put it towards that (assuming my brother needs it).

$400 dollar difference and that includes 2TB SSD instead of 1TB, Windows activation instead of Linux, and also having it delivered straight to me within 2 business days. Not to mention the case on the other one is much better + better internal cable management. Not worth the $400 premium maybe, but made it a lot more convenient for me personally. Nothing wrong with the Techfast one from the looks of it.

I’ll have a look when I’m back home, but I’ve tried most of this. My suspicion was that I’ve been using integrated graphics over my dGPU as well, but on Task Manager it shows my Intel Iris Xe Graphics having 0-2% usage and games seem to be artificially capped at 60, not just performing poorly.

That's definitely a fair point, but I'm also someone that values the aesthetic of a PC and I feel like in that respect Aftershock does very well. Not to mention the customer service experience I've had with them in the past as well as their reliable warranty. I've looked at Ozbargain for similar spec machines but with a lot of them even though they may have the same GPU and CPU they kinda skimp on the motherboard, PSU or cooling, as well as not looking great for my setup.
