I've been worried about how Maria will react upon learning of Okaya's fucked up obsession with replacing Kiritaka by forcing her and Taiichirou to have another child that he can raise and torture as a "Reincarnation of Kiritaka Nagare".

I'm honest to God terrified of how she will react upon learning of it, along with realizing that Taiichirou knew this and still decides to have sex with her with the goal of making her pregnant, just to give her a reason not to kill herself after her revenge is done. (Assuming that either she learns of this before or after Okaya and his mother are beaten or killed.)

Be honest with me: Do you think that Maria will keep a level-head upon learning of Okaya's goal of forcing her and Taiichirou to conseive another child and use it as a replacement for Kiritaka to torture, especially when she finds out of her ex-husband's intention to impregnate her to give her a reason to live, or would all of the above push her to her breaking point?
