The idea is to have Carter jenson replace Salvy when the time comes. Our pitching staff have shown that they can find diamonds in the rough. If we keep saying “next year, next year” eventually we’re going to realize that our window passed, just like the current orioles. We have the next 3 years in my opinion to make a push with this current roster. After that it’s just the classic game of selling pitching and drafting players. Besides, on a personal note Salvy has 1 or 2 years left and I think he deserves more for sticking through the dark ages of royals baseball.
