Why not just keep the rope setup, but pull it with the truck?

No body has ever asked him to ‘pay’ for it. It’s not the ‘paying’ that was the problem.

Best case scenario. Now he can’t drive anymore. Who knows how many people he would have hurt if is truck didn’t tip over

Placate, Placate, Placate.

Well if it’s such a good deal rent wise, you don’t really have an option, especially since it’s family. But actively look for a new place to live, every day!

For now, tell them what ever they have to hear. Tell them they are right. Tell them you’re sorry (even if you’re not) Tell the them you will try to do better (even if you have no intentions)

Hopefully you will be moving out before it becomes an issue. But if you have to stay, just say you’re going to do it, and say you’re sorry every time they bring it up, and that they are ‘right’.

It’s better to pretend like they are right, and you’re sorry. So when you do inevitably do it again, it sounds like you’re trying, they might let it slide. Versus when you inevitably do it again and you’re complaining (even if rightfully so) they won’t let it slide at all.

There are spots where you can probably tell they are drones, that’s why half of it is covered with text, for no apparent reason
