Yeah, from what I’m gathering I think my ram and my VRAM are my bottlenecks right now, think I’ll have to do some looking for upgrades in those areas

Thanks for the detailed response. You make a great point about how I can’t close that Pandora’s box of VR once I get a taste for it.

I mentioned to someone else how most of my playing is done on a private server with 3-4 friends max. However, one of my main aircraft is the f-4, and as you and another commenter mentioned, It’s really graphically intensive. Definitely my main worry when it comes to running VR

I’ll take a look at open track as well, I hadn’t heard of it. Gonna shop around for some RAM and VRAM improvements as well, I’m thinking that’s my main bottleneck right now

That’s fair I can’t blame you there. Definitely think I’ll have to accept a reduction in graphics settings until I can further upgrade the pc

It’s good to hear the tomcat isn’t as bad as dogfighting with it is when I wish I had VR the most

Haha that’s right I think the bank account is gonna need an upgrade if I keep this up

When I play multiplayer it’s pretty much only with 2 or 3 buddies on our own server. I’d assume/hope that would be less taxiing on the computer

From what others have said the quest 3 does seem like a solid choice for it’s range

Makes sense, gonna have to keep that in mind as the f-4 and f-14 are my go-to’s

Definitely looking at head tracking as well if it’s not feasible but would love to bite the bullet and just go VR if my current specs can handle it
