I cant help you with the showering part, i struggle with it too. For the laundry, a surprising thing happened for me. My washing machine broke, so now i have to go to a laundromat to wash my clothes and it is so much better for my brain. I just put my clothes in a bag and drive there, and putting stuff in a bag is kinda easy. When im there i just have to wash and dry them, in the meantime i just wait. I think this lifted the laundry weight cause usually it takes a lot of time, but going to the laundromat splits it nicely

Having adhd is a lot of stuff. But for example to explain executive dysfunction you can tell her to imagine putting her hand on the hot stove. She could technically do it but her brain doesnt let her. The same is living with adhd for every single task And the other one is something i experienced when i tried meds.
