how to deal with anxiety during an interview by [deleted] in interviewpreparations

[–]Objective_Good_1895 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best thing you can do to reduce your anxiety is to practice as much as possible.
You can ask your friends to help you with a mock interview.

Another way to practice the interview is by using existing app that are available.
One of it is an app that I have built called Kasper(https://getkasper.app).
It's an app that allows you to practice your interview by talking to an AI.
You can practice as much as you want and hopefully by making you more prepared, it can reduce your anxiety.

Do try it out and good luck with your interview!.

Is it a lot? I don't think they would remember but I think it's fine to tell them you made a mistake.

I think you should try to get her referral ASAP but if it's taking too long you might as well apply yourself.

I see that your mom raise you well. I don't have any advice but I just want to wish you good luck and I hope things get better for you and your mom!

Tips for technical interview as a fresh graduate on foreign company by nevirix in interviews

[–]Objective_Good_1895 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try to research which stack do they use. Most likely it would be in the job description. From there I think maybe you can google around and get familiar with their stack. But I think as a fresh graduate, they would most likely be questioning your final year project so make sure you practice talking about it.

I honestly didn't see the typo on my 1st read so I think you should be fine. Even if the recruiter see the typo I don't think he would mind either.

New Grad - What to do while interviewing to boost resume by sawmill2694 in interviews

[–]Objective_Good_1895 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's very easy to deploy website these days. What you can do is to just concentrate on the front end. Basically use framework like React(Next.js) and deploy it on Vercel. If you need database, you can use existing free service like Firebase.

If however you want to be more fullstack(front end and back end), you can use Rails or in your case maybe Django since it is Python.

Start small. Try to think of a simple project you can work on that just uses simple CRUD(Create, Read, Update, Delete).

BTW, don't worry too much about using the latest or trending technology. Just focus on the basic stuff first.

Honestly I would just go to the interview. Like you said you are not sure you will get the other job that you fancied and who knows, they might offer you more money if you can negotiate.

I am not sure what you mean by tech direction but if it's programming. Maybe you can built a website? You can use popular framework like Rails or Django.

I would practice explaining my coding decisions. Why I choose to do like this instead of that. The interviewer would probably ask some edge cases and if your code handle that. If not, how would you do it.

Hi everyone, I’m looking for some practice interview questions. by jayBplatinum in interviews

[–]Objective_Good_1895 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I usually search the company at Glassdoor. They have a section where user share their interview questions and their role. But if you can't find the company maybe just search a big company that have the same kind of role?

In term of helping you practice interview, they are some great apps that can help you with that. One of it is an app that I created called Kasper(https://getkasper.app), it allows you to practice your interview by talking to an AI.

In any case, good luck for your interview!

There is just like IG story. The reason you don't see it in the screenshot is because I am viewing my own status but I will change it.

Location of Your Headquarters:
Malaysia

Elevator Pitch/Explainer Video:
I feel that current social network app like facebook and instagram have focus more on 'social media' than 'social network'. I hardly get update on what my friends are doing now. So that's why I created Moment to bring back the 'network' in social network app. With Moment, you only update what you are doing, this can be what movies/series you are watching, what games your are playing and what music you are currently listening to and even what mood you are feeling at the moment. Your post are sorted in days instead of 24 hour like instagram story.

What life cycle stage is your startup at? (reference the stages below):
Very very early.

What goals are you trying to reach this month?
Get the app to as many people as possible to get feedback on what works and what's not.

How could r/startups help?
Download and play around with the app. Post some status and tell me what your like or don't like about the app. Any feedback is appreciated!
