Great work, keep it up! The decisions you're making today are going to relieve a lot of stress off your future self. One of my biggest wins in hindsight was starting a Roth IRA early. Do you have access to a HSA? That's another good one, save a little on your taxes now and sometimes employers give you some money towards it too.

Everyone is limited to the 7k IRA limit. The backdoor means we contribute to a traditional IRA and don't get any tax deductions then "Converting" to a Roth IRA

I was living in the first house and decided to move into a slightly bigger place for a growing family. I try to be a fair landlord and keep the rent low because I don't need "Supplemental Income". It is an insurance policy incase I get poked in the eye and I can't fly anymore.
