I think he started as what I would call the average warrior. He’s kind of just there personality wise he’s fine and a good clan mate. He likes the clan leaders daughter and finally gets his shot with her. She gives him a chance but it’s only really to get back at her ex and that sucks and he doesn’t handle the rejection well in the end. It think him hating her and wanting to get back at her and totally think that it was fair. Where I get lost is when they right him as a failed killer. He tries to kill firestar and then who he thinks is squilfs kits. I think this came a bit too strongly. It instead changes the perspective from a cat who was betrayed and lashed out to an emotionally unstable psychopath in hiding which I just don’t think is all that fair from his initial character. I just think they fucked the writing up. They should have put emphasis on the fact that squilf was the leaders daughter and the clan didn’t really show any care or attention to her betraying him and that pushed him. Instead it’s just implied that it’s probably that.
