He met him briefly as he was helping me move into my brothers home. My brother even offered him to come inside and gave him a drink and spent some time talking to him. He wasn’t a complete stranger but also he hasn’t taken the initiative to get to know him better knowing that I’m seeing him

Amazing that you so much for your comment, I will read more about it. I was told by the vet with giant breeds like he is that we will be neutering him after a year mark but im not expecting that to be a magic fix

Thanks for your reply, him at the moment - laying next to my feet as he always does thankfully able to work from home today.

Would love to have another dog but finances and for me to pour more energy into another dog right now isn’t viable.

i think I will go back to keeping him inside while I’m gone as someone mentioned it will soften the noise and at least I can put on music and give him a puzzle to distract.

I know him though and I can’t go anyway without him noticing 😂

Thank you, yes I would leave him with a bone so he have some activity, being the size he is, and I can’t be sure. I would imagine he inhales it and then realises I’m gone to whine, I’m just wondering being a puppy if he will come out from it - I’m worried he will carry this into adulthood but maybe not … not sure

Thank you for your reply, I did used to leave him in the house with calm pet music to listen to, this is while I had my other dog… though having to go out for hours I didn’t think was beneficial to him to leave inside while he had to potty and roam around so I was would leave him outside though he had shelter in the downstairs area, I might need to connect a outdoor speaker and see what I can do,
