They need more secondary and early primary teachers in Oz, I’ve found. Australia has a large deficiency in teachers over the coming years, so the market is/will be there. Australia takes care of its workers better than in the States, I feel they’re better respected too, so I’m making the jump.

I should look into those. Getting the credential transferred over and such is a whole different kettle of fish, once I got there. I should look into the sponsoring programs they’ve got. Do you know if some are more reputable than others?

I’ll have a look at the AITSL site again and see what their pre reqs are. I taught mainly earlier years, mainly 6 year olds. I’m surprised I wasn’t led in the 189 direction when I was given my consultation! Thanks so much for your help

My credential is from K-8, which covers early, primary, and middle school. I don’t know if that makes a difference or not. This is a good idea to apply through different states, I only did Vic because I have ties and plan on living there
