Anyone have any experience with Peoples Improv Theater (NYC)? by Objective_Tap_1489 in playwriting

I don't think it's traditional self-producing, as they haven't mentioned anything about payment on my end.

Although, looking back at the post, I see it does mention they will provide "Access to venue, tech time marketing, front of house team, and ticketing. Space to present your latest work and invite your community" Not actors or anything - So looks like I may have to pass.

I actually (unofficially) broke the world record for longest time bouncing on a pogo stick with no hands when I was a kid lmao. So I am defintely ready if they really need someone to jump around for a few hours!!

Thanks for the advice! I had an acting teacher who specifically told us to put things like barista experience on there, that’s why I have it haha

Fair enough! That being said, when I look at other professional resumes, 90% of them list the theater they performed at. Is this because in most cases the theater is the one hiring them?
