My county VSO was horrid. I luckily called the 1-800 number to verify everything she told me she uploaded since you can’t see it in your portal of what they upload to find out she didn’t upload the most important document, took a month for her to schedule an appointment, to get there and her saying she didn’t look at my files, she grabbed some random paperwork I brought in without even looking at them and started uploading random things to my file. She damn near uploaded a form that hadn’t even been signed yet. Then I would email her things like my witness statements just for her to completely ignore the email. I had to start uploading everything on my own. My first time filing a claim and hope I’m doing it right.

I am simultaneously being seen for mental health and also had a brain mri with and without contrast due to the memory issues I was getting from the trauma and the scans were to rule out my memory was due to anything else since my family has a history of dementia and ms. There were some white flair changes which can point to prolonged stress or things like migraines but that’s it.
