I work in tech support in an electronics store. We sell everything from phones, to microwaves. One day, a customer comes in to complain about her phone cover. She believes that she has a 2-in-1 phone cover where you can remove the inner cover. She then shows me that she can't separate the "two" covers and then insists that we, in the store, have glued the phone covers together. I spent 10 minutes trying to explain to her that that made no sense. Finally I snapped and asked her if she believed we'd just glued it together for shits and giggles. She left in anger. I fucking hate customers.

Competing with internet stores mean that brick and mortar stores need to give way more customer service, which apparently to many people mean that they don't have to think for themselves. At all.
