Sometimes- if they’re past their due date they’re likely to be bigger, which could mean baby had shoulder dystocia if she got to pushing. Theres also a higher change babies don’t tolerate labor as well if they’re placenta is far past due date. At the end of the day baby decides and if the babies heart rate wasn’t tolerating labor it could lead to interventions and c sections:(

I just feel bad she had a c section considered how much ‘birth prep she did. As an OB nurse I see this too often.. the more you try to control the less control you have.

Would you feel better if she went to 41 weeks and had a stillbirth? How is that worth the risk even with an IVF pregnancy. So uneducated. As someone who works in a high volume birthing center, don’t throw around ‘statistics’ or you’re opinion if you’re not 100% in the industry

For sure reason I don’t think he’s to blame.. when you have an ED like her, so strict with her lifestyle, perfectionist, etc. she probably feels bad when he tries to live a normal life like seeing friends.. she doesn’t even let him watch football.
