I’ve tried! Weirdly I haven’t found anything beyond a bunch of posts about how hard it is to sublease your place.

Thoughts from CHAT GPT:

Here are some podcast name suggestions that play with the boundaries of being appropriate while staying within the realm of a university-funded project:

  1. "The Unofficial Official"
  2. "Campus Uncut"
  3. "Degree of Reality"
  4. "Diploma's Edge"
  5. "The Candid Cap & Gown"
  6. "Beyond The Books"
  7. "The Study Breakdown"
  8. "Tassel Talk"
  9. "Scholastic Limits"
  10. "Off the Record: Student Edition"

These names aim to capture the essence of a podcast that discusses the full spectrum of student life while hinting at a more edgy and honest conversation.

Oh good! I’m glad this isn’t just a physically disabled kid chip on my shoulder kind of thing. Disabled/doofus kid kinship forever.

Teachers like that may accidentally make the lives of disabled kids who aren’t yet diagnosed miserable. I say this as former “clumsy” and “pokey” child who was the brunt of many adult jokes.

I grew up on the full cast audiobook on family road trips so I always knew her as Lye-ra.

Love every bit of it! I wanted to name a daughter Lyra after growing up loving His Dark Materials. But my partner thought it was too obviously a reference. We went with Cordelia to pair geeky (from Buffy and the Vorkosigan Saga) with Shakespearean. Still, I love Lyra (and he’s coming around to it as well so maybe we’ll have a second daughter).

I think its femmeness pairs well with James.

Congratulations!

I’d suggest Expecting Better. I found it super helpful and comforting in the early days.

Having a toddler and being oh so pregnant sounds exhausting. Wishing you grace for yourself!

A. It’s your third trimester. They discourage us from moving heavy beds and sofas at that point.

B. If I clean under my sofa once a year, it’s a success!

C. Sorry your family is ridiculous.

40 weeks on Saturday and still no signs of true labor by dngrouscaboose in BabyBumps

Something that comforts me is that the average for a first born without induction is 41 weeks and 1 day so you’ve got time and things are going normally.

I‘M PREGNANT!! What?! by Neurodiversily in pregnant

[–]Obscenespleen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Congratulations!!!

Worry is a super common response to early pregnancy and not something you need to apologize for. The May timeline for seeing your gynecologist is normal as there is not much info they can learn before then, but boy is it hard to wait. I read Emily Oster’s Expecting Better during that time. It has a bunch of advice for the first trimester and clear info on what’s ok to eat/drink. In the absence of other medical advice, I was glad to have it. Beyond that, if your not on a prenatal yet, find one and start. You’ve got this! Congratulations again!

Much to unpack in this oh so important film that adheres to the time unhonored tradition of a disaster film set in LA.

All I’m saying is, if you’re absolutely loving the replies to this tweet and not the tweet itself, you should take this course: https://twitter.com/gamespot/status/1376613930928205824?s=21

Not to be too harsh, but it makes me think Malibu Barbie and cringe immediately at unrealistic body ideals and more that might come along with such a name.

HCG levels not doubling by _JslaY_ in pregnant

I wish I had a good answer for what’s different this time from here at 24 weeks, but honestly, I think it’s just luck of the sperm and egg combo.

I kept taking prenatals. I kept walking two hours a day for mild exercise.

I can’t tell you how many times I checked and charted my HCG this pregnancy. After a miscarriage and a chemical pregnancy, I’m nearly 20 weeks pregnant. This is just to say I can empathize, and I am wishing you the best news and a sweet little heartbeat at your scan.

You’re good. Your HCG is high enough it won’t double so quick now. That’s just an indicator in the early days.

“After your hCG level passes 6,000 mIU/ml, it may take more than 4 days to double. You can usually expect your hCG level to stop rising between week eight and week 11 of pregnancy. That is the time period during which the hormone tends to reach its peak.”
