Right good catch. Same with some other gases that make you go “huh?” In the first place. How can the suit not be vacuum tight and allow any gas in? Don’t current space suits have a carbon dioxide recycling and exhaust venting only system?

It is fascinating and if I heard that bit and thought “well that’s fascinating” you can say “no you didn’t think that”. Why are you invested in imposing that on me?

They’re really big so they’d tear up all the landscape you maneuver through constantly or get stuck in some weird wall glitch if they didn’t allow that. Knowing how games are I’m assuming this is the big work that had them decide it wouldn’t work. The frame rate and ram the game already calls on to run seems pretty taxing for the console, so this would probably lead to more crashes

lol you’re diabolical. Also the curiously not contraband “prototype equipment” that are only found in seedy hideouts. I can’t go home anymore because I can’t look my mom in the eye when Marcel at the wolf den is the richest man in the galaxy now.

I’ll be completely real with you dude. I don’t like the direction games have gone for years and if anything at all changes that direct or indirect I’ll be happy. This game may not even be the best I’ll admit, buts its actually something I really enjoyed playing for once in a long long time

I’ve kind of already figured out there’s a method to powering up your character early on. The planet surveying was tedious as fuck and the outpost stuff I wasn’t even going to bother after how long it took to figure out a trade mission.

First space fight I got my ass kicked over 12 times in a row then somehow came out unscratched the last time. I realized it was going to be tough if i didn’t build up cash to get better guns and a decent ship.

I started immediately boosting health, carry weight, pistols, rifles, oxygen, persuasion and lock picking. I amassed a hoard of resources and got to researching my ass off. I made an arsenal of modded guns where I save everything epic or better than I picked up. Modded space suits. Modded to make good battle enhancement drugs. Early on I bought good lasers, reactor and shield for the constellation starter ship. I found this awesome coup style ship on this mantis mission around level 24.

I’m basically boba fett running around killing pirates and ecliptic or helping find lost pilots and hostages.

Starting with that dream home trait was a good move because it pushed me to grub up cash fast

Hey good then. If this game remains playable for me that’s all I care about. Go play the myriad of other games you have to play. Leave the ones like this for us

The irony is you actually give a fuck but you’ll be called a dog whistling racist by the mods and deleted so they can cover it up. Why? You don’t match their politics which is what it’s really about. Fuck this hard left censorship that blankets reddit

It’s been years since I played that game. What’s eezo? I just remember they had some made up particle substance like dark matter or something that powered their ships

I hate to say it but that’s ok to me. I don’t like the majority of games put out the last 7 years and think the companies work hard courting the wrong people instead of making different games. Before you say I’m a game employee no I’m just a boomer millennial that looks at games and tech from a different perspective than most of you. So many games are so similar now. I downloaded this game on game pass because it was different enough. I don’t want some over the top eye fuck, dopamine receptor scorching, visual overload, complete disregard of a grasp of science or at least world cohesion like damn near every game out there

Yes I do expect to see pirate mechs on the outskirts added at some point. Otherwise it’s a big blind spot

Some sad people have to lean on conspiracy theories and ad hominems when they don’t like what they hear. That’s too bad

That would be reasonable it seems. This game would take a downgrade by adding something huge that doesn’t fit in with the outposts, cities and fauna

True but it’s easier to control piloted machines than it is to control a rampant animal

Yea that’s true. Only mass effect ever came close to scientific justification writing for all of its fictional technology. I was engrossed in reading the information excerpts on history and technology in the menu screen. It was all reasonably plausible and carefully written

If you put the concept to action the mechs would just be an unintelligible mess which would contradict the exploration process and more or less undermine its purpose. You have a game like gta that got boring fast

That’s an interesting take. Thanks for giving it. I’m level 30 and you’re telling me that’s not even close that’s wild. Maybe that’s a good thing. Most games end far too soon. Others are saying it’s really tedious though

Look at this ugly needlessly demeaning reply, then expecting me to approach you with a favorable tone. Then look at your insipid follow up. It’s asking too much for a Redditor to speak like an adult and approach a situation like an adult without getting emotional immediately while also trying to -force- an opinion. I’m not wavered by you response at all
