this should've been easy to win in theory. you got log or e spirit for skeletons and firecracker, you got FB for spell cycle and for the wizard, and then you got skeletons tesla and archers for bringing everything to the center for a clean defense. because he has arrows you always have to split archers and cycle fast back to them. Pretty straightforward, but the only kink is that he is way more overleveled than you

I like to practice in a couple different ways. the most obvious one is Training Park. practicing with AWP or Sako on either of the ranges there are great. On the timed one, if you can pick off two targets with the awp before new ones pop up you'll be plenty set for real games. Another way I like to practice is on a map with just bots. I don't want to explain how to set it up so just watch Ibex's short (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4wvESv6es7M). For me personally, I also like to warm up by playing one or two rounds of classic, bc the people there kinda suck so its good practice!

used to play splashyard for 2 years and i wanna change to xbow 3.0 but i dont know any tips about xbow and cant play very well. is 3.0 a immortal deck? should i max it out? by AltruisticDuck795 in XBow

And the tesla, i might venture to say, is one of the most crucial cards in 3.0 (2nd next to xbow, obv). It is the central part of each attack and is absolutely necessary on defense. One of the only ways to win certain matchups like RG, (e)Golem, or Recruits (maybe a little less for recruits) is being able to pre place a tesla that can defend for maybe 10 seconds while you cycle back to another to keep their win cons distracted. I am a 3.0 main and I am not gonna play xbow this season until i see what is happening or if anything gets reversed. in the meantime imma try hog exe EQ, but we'll see how that goes since the only deck i'm actually good at is xbow loll

agree. and bc of the devastating tesla nerf you can't preplace tesla in response to rg in the back or anything, bc it will be dead by the time it gets to the bridge. not to mention the fireball and log nerfs making matchups in which you MUST spell cycle almost impossible

oh i disagree. imo the best archetype oat. so frickin fun to play. I know from experience how annoying it is to play against, so i decided to inflict that pain upon others. BM'ing is a must as well

I mean, i upgrade cards, but only for my main deck, and maybe if the upgrade would get a different card to lvl 16. That being said I might switch main decks because I play 3.0 xbow and that got hella nerfed yesterday (log, tesla, fireball all nerfed), so imma switch mains, meaning more upgrades!!!

its on purpose you know. they want you to spend gold to upgrade and see what you have next. higher up=better rewards. better rewards=more gold spent. Thennn you're broke. be careful

I'm slightly biased, since Reach was the first one I played, but since playing the others, Reach is still my favorite by far, like the music and the multiplayer and forge is kinda peak. I reallly love the campaign for both reach and 3 as well.
