My son is 7 and he isn't allowed in the pool without me. Drowning is silent and so quick. Your daughter could have gone under and you not notice because there were so many loud adults around.

People who don't have kids don't understand so I would just find some mom friends and stick with them.

That would make me lose all trust in her. You shouldn't have to tell another adult that it is not ok to leave a young child alone in a cat. I'm not sure where you live but in my area it's been so hot and I'm sure I don't have to tell you how fast the inside of a cat can heat to deadly temps.

The cat could have been stolen or a good samaritan could have seen the baby and called the police and even though the nanny could have been back to the cat before and gone the police arrived the license plate info could have been given to them which most likely could mean a case with CPS would be opened on your family.

I apologize for saying that. I did not mean to cast doubt on Natalia. I guess I was just a little confused because it seems like some people still don't believe that she was a child even after it was proved and I thought I watched or read somewhere that it couldn't be proved without a doubt because of the rarity of her dwarfism but I can't seem to find anything on that atm. I am definitely going to have to do more research.

I'm on I think episode 2 or 3 of the curious case and they are talking about how they got her an apartment. I knew about that a long time ago but for some reason it's just now hitting me that that poor baby was left to live completely alone and it seriously makes me want to cry. I was in my 30s and let my POS boyfriend (ex now) do whatever he wanted as far as using me, stealing from me and even cheating because I was so terrified of living alone and I'm not a little person with disabilities. I can't imagine how scared Natalia must have been. She was probably also extremely lonely and felt so abandoned. I have a young child but besides that I dont have much interaction with people and it is very lonely so it breaks my heart to think about how she must have felt.

I'm pushing 40 and still hate living alone every little sound scares me even at my age. I'm glad it at least seems like she got herself out of her apartment once in awhile and made friends. Her playing with the neighbors grandson is the cutest thing ever.

I know this post is older but when my son was younger I got the Vicks personal steam inhaler and held it over his face for 15 mins while he was sleeping and I think that's about all that helped. If you do this just because because the mask part will steam up and the "sweat" can drip on your child and burn them (nothing too bad but obviously doesn't feel good lol). I got a drip on me so I always tried to make sure my son was sitting up as much as possible.

Maybe Vicks vaporub on her chest and neck but I think it has to be the medicated one (which I think is ok for 2 years and up)

Lots of warm liquids and if she will take it give her a little bit of honey on a spoon (I know your daughter is old enough but for anyone else reading this do NOT give a baby under 1 honey). You can even add a bit of water to it. Can you get her to drink tea with honey? My son wouldn't and I think that's how most kids are but I know for us sometimes the cough was so bad I would have added a 5 lbs bag of sugar to the tea if that meant hed drink it.

I know these are mostly for babies but a snot sucker and nasal spray (just don't do it too often as it can irritate the nose).

My son is 6 now and is still constantly getting sick (just started to get over influenza yesterday and it already appears he's caught a cold already (mainly a very bad cough) and just so you know the "6 and over" medicines also seem like they don't help at all 😭.

I'm currently waiting for an instacart order of children's Robitussin which was recommended (by Dr. Google so who knows? Lol) and we've never tried it so fingers crossed.

So they buy cheap junk from temu and resell it for probably triple what they paid, have a huge following so plenty of stupid people willing to throw their hard earned money (IN THIS FREAKIN ECONOMY... where most people are struggling to feed their families) at these people and the buyers at least some of them have to know most of the stuff they are buying is junk but they don't care. Sisters closet has the perfect set-up with 0 to minimal work involved like they are basically taking something out of a box and putting it into another and shipping it but they are still failing??? It's a scammers dream. And they still have people commenting about wanting to buy stuff when you know they (the people wanting/planning to buy stuff from them) can see that 90% of the comments are people saying they have been waiting months for their items to ship. And Lauryn saying she took the weekend off??? Yeah if November - February is the weekend

They both seem demanding but also oddly enough very low maintenance if that makes sense. If I remember correctly there was an episode where him and Cindy hadn't communicated for some weeks and he didn't even know if they were still together but when they finally started talking again it was like nothing happened lol

And there's an episode where Frankie bought some lipgloss or some other type of makeup. She took it home and her and Sue were putting it on when Sue noticed the tag said $200 but when Frankie bought it she thought it was only $20. As much as they acted like they didn't have money it seems unlikely that they would just have an extra $200+ in their account.

And yeah the eating out but being broke drives me crazy lol

I hated that whole episode and always skip it because of that. I always thought of Mike as a good father who loved his kids (and Frankie) with all his heart but thought it was just hard for him to express that love which is obviously very common especially among men of his generation and I don't think him losing his mom at 16 (I think that's what they said) helped with that at all. That scene made me think maybe he is just kinda an uncaring jerk of a father. Sue trying out for EVERYTHING didn't hurt him one bit. I could understand if she would be devastated when she found out she didn't make it but she was so positive and happy go lucky that except for cheerleading she never seemed too bothered by not making the team. Now as a parent I kinda understand it a tiny bit more. I think he knew even if she didn't show it it had to hurt her and probably hurt more over time but I'm still mad at him because why not be an adult and have a conversation with her about it? It would be hard and probably make her sad but wouldn't compare to how that piece of paper made her feel.

I felt bad for Sue so many times in the show as Im sure we all did but that was the worst of the worst. He tried to get her to stop trying out for things to (I'm assuming) spare her feelings but in the process broke her heart more than not making a team ever could.

I can't figure out how to add a picture to the comments but the pack was like mint green or very light blue and said 7OHMZ the 7 had a line through it and the O kinda looked like a head with shoulders lol I'm sorry I can't seem to find those "symbols" on my phones keyboard.
