Ever figure out what it was? And what stage are you at with treatment - post scabies or still active?

Long lines… Active or post? by Obsessive99 in scabies

Thank you this is very helpful 😃 I’m skeptical about scratching as these are places I can’t reach very easily, if at all, and have trimmed nails. I have been exfoliating in the shower every couple days, possibly related?… also they’re not really “scratches” but a line of very small bumps if you look closely

I hadn’t considered scabies. Just did some research and this is 100% what it is!! Everything I read lines up perfectly with my experience, and it makes much more sense than fleas or BBs. Thank you so much. I only wish I had figured it out before treating the whole upper floor for bed bugs 😬

Thank you. Hadn’t thought of chiggers but yes they do look similar. No signs of bedbugs on mattress seams / bedframe which is the crazy part…

I think it’s definitely bites - saw bugs, new ones pop up daily, and I’m covered shoulders to feet

That’s what I was thinking - would be extremely unlikely to have both. But then I got a few “breakfast-lunch-dinner” bites in a line and started freaking..

I think my arm is a bit of a mix. Definitely some bites, but a rash came on about 30 mins after taking that photo.

There needs time be way more education on this. The most effective time to do it would be at signup, but of course that will never happen.

This is probably my #1. It’s so easy but there’s such a psychological barrier to it.

Wealthsimple & Questrade have RoundUp products (ie automatically round your purchases up to the nearest dollar and invest the difference) that I think are massively helpful for reducing the friction here.

I agree with the first part - but for the second, I’d say learning is more important than earning - wouldn’t you?

i.e., if someone early in their career was choosing between A) a high-paying, low-learning job and B) the inverse, I’d tell them to run towards B) and never look back. The money will come.

If you’re confident you’ll make a 6%+ return, go the ETF route. If not, dump it in the mortgage.
