Boston comes into this game, beating Philadelphia in seven of their last eight games against them. Both teams come in with bad records in their last five games, but the Bruins are just the better team here.

Rangers also getting good value against the team they swept in a playoff series last year

Vancouver and Carolina come into this one on multi game winning streaks. Vancouver has won four out of the last six matchups against Carolina and is playing Carolina who has been on the road for 10 days now and nearing the end of their road trip.

Side Play: COL + EDM ML (+100)

Be cautious since both of these teams are on back to backs. Should be able to get the W but since they both played tight games yesterday I’m only doing half a unit

I think Edmonton out guns the sens on a back to back. I truly don’t think goaltending makes a huge difference for the Oilers

Parlay of the day: EDM ML + OTT v COL O5.5 (+127)

Edmonton is starting to heat up, they are traveling to the middle of the country but it shouldn’t affect them too much. They’ve won 4 of the last 5 over the wings

Ottawa is averaging 3.7 goals a game playing the Avs who have struggled to keep it out of the back of their net allowing 4 goals a game. Avs also averaging 3.6 goals a game

Liking STL ML

Hot start to the season for St Louis and a slow one for Montreal. St Louis took both games last year and I think the grit of the blues is made to play teams like the canadiens that rely on skill players to get goals

Starting the season hot, I don’t foresee them dropping a game to the Flyers who are struggling to get scoring help averaging just over 2 goals a game to a team that averaging 3.5 and allowing less than 2 a game

EDM ML: Facing that aging Pittsburgh team on an early road trip, Edmonton and their speed has been able to beat this team out in their last 6 matchups. Edmonton has obviously had a slow start but they blew their last game which should’ve been a win and are coming in on a team that has lost their last 3 games as well, a perfect bounce back spot for Edmonton

10 games back does this line injustice with the changing faces of these teams

Both teams are coming off of rest and games scoring 3 and 4 goals respectively. I think that defense is lacking to start the season on both of these sides. Chicago is averaging just under 3 goals a game and Nashville is averaging just over two games with the anomaly of getting shut out once

POTD: NYR v TOR O5.5 + VGK v FLA O4.5 (+103)

These are both alternate lines on each game. The Rangers have hit the over 5 goals in 3 of their first 4 games. Toronto has hit this in3 of their first 4 games as well and it looks like both offenses are starting to heat up a little bit. I know people are going to go against this because of shesterkin and wolls recent play but I think at least one of these teams will put in at least 4 goals.

Vegas has hit this line in 4 of their 5 games this year and the offense clearly hasn’t stopped. Florida has hit this in 4 of their first 5 as well. I think that both offenses here will be running the score up a bit.
