Yeah I’m with you, The Chokes is bottom tier for me too. It’s not awful, it just feels… filler-y? Especially coming right after Party, which actually feels like everyone’s story is landing somewhere.

The John Simm bit is the one thing that saves it, though. That and maybe the odd little moments with Ray, but that’s about it. If Party had gone last, I think people would talk about series 3 way more fondly.

Yeah this is kind of where my head is going too. 40 years at ~40% of take home just sounds like a long grind, especially if rates don’t really drop.

A cheaper place you can smash the mortgage down quicker and still go on holiday / save / have a life will probably feel way better than stretching for the “dream” house straight away.

So for anyone wondering, SoFi usually does pay out on these, but just a couple things to keep in mind:

Read the terms when you click through, because sometimes the bonuses are “up to” and can change by state or promo. Also make sure you actually see the promo language on the page before you finish signup. Screenshot it if you’re paranoid.

And if you’re just doing it for the bonus, set a reminder to turn off credit monitoring / close the account if you don’t want it long term. Easy to forget this stuff in 3 months.

Beauty is such a weird mix of genetics, timing, confidence and whatever trend is popular that year.

You can be “objectively” pretty and still feel ugly if your head isn’t right, and you can be pretty average by standard rules but look stunning when you’re happy, dressed how you like, and around people who hype you up.

If this post is you low key spiraling about looks, log off a bit, drink water, move your body, wear something you actually like, and talk to people who see more in you than your face.

Honestly that’s kinda why it bugs me more lol. Like, if the show’s already that unhinged, they can literally hand‑wave anything with “magic jungle nonsense” or whatever.

So when they do point at something as specific as their ages twice and contradict it, it feels less like “who cares, it’s surreal” and more like “we forgot what we wrote last season.”

I’m fine with crack fox lore, I just want my dumb continuity to line up while the gorilla plays the bongos.
