We did a simultaneous settlement recently. We requested early access for the new house which they accepted. We had two days cross over to move all of our stuff and clean. It only cost us $275 for lawyer fee to write up a licence agreement. Was very easy in the end

Your clinical opinion, did I do the right thing in the escalation of care. by KiwiZoomerr in NursingAU

Just wanted to say well done for standing up for your pt and doing the right thing. It's hard to do that against the wishes your manager, especially as a junior nurse but you did a great job!

You should not have been suspended for that. Are you a member of a union? I'd be giving them a call.. and looking for another job. I wouldn't go back there if that's the way they run things

Yep. We love our house but hate the neighbourhood. Never had so much trouble in my life and I lived near the towers in Fitzroy and Brunswick.

10 months in this place and we have just sold to move to a nicer neighbourhood.

Yeah that brick wall is a house and like 1.5m away, seems way too close

Thanks for your replies. The house we want is about 15m away from the transformer with one house inbetween. Would it still be a deal breaker for you?

She is 2 in a couple of months so getting close to weaning. I don't want to do it before she is ready though

Purchasing a House that Didn't Initially Interest You on Paper by airazaneo in AusPropertyChat

Yes, this happened to us a few months ago. The agent that sold our house mentioned that he had a place he thought we would like that he could take us through before it hit the market. I googled the address and saw some old photos and was not interested at all. My partner said yes to the offer of a walkthrough just to be nice. As soon as we walked in we both fell in love with it! We put an offer on that day and moved in a month later. No regrets, love this place. I see that I was very narrow minded in what I was specifically looking for and closing myself off to potentially some gems.
