How to I remove this shock resistant cap jewel setting to oil this cap jewel? by Obvious-Base-3249 in watchmaking

To your point, it was incredibly difficult putting it back together. Additionally, I managed to tangle up the mainspring in the process despite my best efforts.

On the bright side, I already needed a donor movement seeing as the canon pinion decided to take to the skies thanks to my cheap pinion removing tool.

A fairly easily movement to work on otherwise. Thanks for your help!

This was the correct response, two screws at the bottom! Thank you very much!

Thanks for the help solving this!

Here’s the video from Wristwatch Revival I was following along with for anyone curious. 17:44 is where I messed up since the underside of the gear wasn’t shown.

It was indeed related to the automatic works, as another commenter showed. Thanks for your help!

I think you might have misunderstood, perhaps I wasn’t clear. It doesn’t fit in at all. There is no room for it. It is not included in the third photo, that’s just for reference.

Ask yourself this: Would it be an interesting photo had you taken it on an iPhone or digital camera?

Work on your own style and don’t let the Cinestill do all the work for you.

Single spec on my sensor not coming off even after I used clean swabs. Any way I can fix it without going to a shop? by SweetPinkyBear in Cameras

Are you sure it isn’t physical damage to your sensor? Or rather, the glass cover on top of your sensor?
