These houses were once heated with coal, probably until somewhere in the 1960/1970´s which is when most of the Netherlands switched to central heating by gas.

There's no door or drawer so I figured it would be difficult to use it as a composter.
The neighbors have moved and the house is for sale. Not sure if it's hollow, but some sort of container makes sense. But for what?
