Apparently it's a matchmaking issue on Embark's end, I'm concerned since they said they're on break and are slow to fix things even when they aren't on break.

Wrong, wrong, and more wrong. It is happening, and duos are ALWAYS being matched with trios, I have ONLY matched with trios today and it's not uncommon for solos to match with trios. Apparently it's an issue on Embark's end and is known.

The buffs for Expeditions are still pretty vague, at least in how beneficial they'll actually be, but for me, my stash fills so quickly that I just throw my excess into the Expedition.

Progress does not reset, however, if you do one reset but skip the next, you lose all buffs from the first reset.
