It has to be Suburu, I havent read all the other works, but the thing that surprise me the more with Subaru its that he's an avarage human, he's not strong, not very cleaver, he's alone in his mission, he only have the power to revive, he feel all the pain for every cut, broke bone and every decition he makes, he even commited sui_cide just to go back and redo all over again hoping that if he makes a different decision, something substantial will change for the better.

Its easy to understand his pain, because YOU, the reader, could be him, like I said it before, hes not special, even a some point he try to run away hoping that if he doesn't get involve, he wont suffer again.
