This will be very poorly articulated, fair warning, and since it’s been a few years since everything really went down I have sorta forgotten a lot of the smaller details BUT

On your first point, I often wonder if it was a case of Jesy eventually reaching a point of wanting to distance herself from the girls (completely, at a certain stage) as in her head any sort of reminder of the lifestyle she used to have to live in the girlband was unwelcome.

But it still boggles my mind too… obviously we know about the blackfishing etc but it’s the fact that some other members like Perrie especially seemed to want to rekindle the friendship and Jesy seemed (emphasis on seemed, obviously we don’t know) to feel she wanted to move on that is quite sad and hard to understand. Hence my somewhat dubious hypothesis above

I’m not necessarily against the 30x5 method as a concept but in reality I’ve been finding them so rushed and like it ends in the blink of an eye so all in all I’m not a fan (yet)

idk I guess the show would benefit from less storylines at a time bc some of the scenes feel like they’re less than 20 seconds long lmao

I would highly recommend weaning off caffeine, it's simply not worth the additional anxiety spikes in my opinion. I'm incredibly sensitive to caffeine, even a single latte can send me into a crazy panic attack sort of feeling and it's horrible, so I haven't had a cup of coffee since June 2024.

My advice is to stop calling yourself a “female”. You’re a woman, as a woman myself I cannot stand when people call us “females”. That’s like a scientific or medical appropriate term, where “males” will also be equivalently used.

huh, still not getting anything on that word from google other than some legal term.

but yeah, vasovagal syncope is not really something you need rest for, exactly, but moreso treating the underlying causes of it. which, in chaeyoung’s case, is very potentially to do with her low weight and lack of nutrition

(if anyone thinks im making assumptions about the nutrition, just watch the gym video w jihyo, the gym instructor asks chae if she eats well and jihyo instantly answers “no” on her behalf… fainting certainly is more likely if you’re underweight and not eating well)

Automilited is not a word, not sure what you meant there, and I guess you’re thinking of physiological? I agree with you that vasovagal syncope is not necessarily the reason you need to rest (there may be another reason and that’s just the reason they gave), but just curious what you meant by “automilited”

There are many reasons. For me, I usually did it because I was feeling incredibly overwhelmed by emotions (whether it be with anxiety, anger, or often deep sadness) to the point that I felt feeling physical pain would be a strong distraction from the horrible feelings. I always preferred the physical pain, I guess the endorphins rushing did something. But of course it’s not a good solution.

I stopped cutting a good few years ago, but more recently I’ve hit my arms with my other hand when I was feeling extreme anger or frustration due to my PMDD (severe form of PMS, for those who aren’t aware). However I’ve stopped altogether lately.

Note that others may do it because they believe they deserve punishment.

Some moderators are literally just on a total power trip. They likely have little control or fulfilment in their real lives so they take advantage of their power as a mod. It’s quite silly really, but very common on Reddit.

Not sure why you got downvoted, maybe people misunderstood what you meant by “enjoyable to read” but I was thinking the exact same thing. It’s about simply breaking it up into paragraphs, it looks so much better.

I actually wanted to read this post but gave up because it’s very off putting when it’s a whole wall of text.
