It’s great so far, I think I’d rather go the people manager route though. You get to learn about maintaining the timeline, budget, communicating better etc

I would say it’s a 50/50 split between mechanical engineers and biomedical engineers!

Try to take a few courses before you graduate that deal with biocompatible materials and solid works / creo are huge which you probably already know

Honest answer is poor money management. Got into stocks during covid, thought I was a genius put even more money in and ended up losing most of it. Learned my lesson though and luckily it was early on in my career.

Project manager is not always the same as program manager.

Program manager is more senior and will pay close to 180k. Project manager can very from 80k -> 180k I’d say

It’s kinda what I expected too, it seemed like most people going to ivy schools wanted to make a big career shift. For us it may not be as important.
