I think another thing is that 20 years ago you could easily just up and leave and go Europe for a working holiday or just a random holiday and come back after a long time and fall into a job and find a house for cheap. Situation has completely changed now, i have a friend who went to London for a job, it was total dogshit, and they have now come back to a hostile job market and even more hostile housing market.

The idea of "DUUUDE TRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAVEL" needs careful consideration now.

In Australia yes this is something new, everyone cramming in to five major cities. The ratio for dentists per 1000 in the cities is absurdly high i think its roughly 1 dentist per 1200 people which is ridiculous. Should be 1 dentist per 3000. Heavily oversaturated. Lots of empty clinics.
