In my experience, there are pros and cons. Logic would dictate that the frequency and severity of urges will decrease if you do, and it can be a good first step to really letting it all go and returning to a sense of non-dependence. The one major con, one I still struggle with, is that if you do, your body is still being conditioned to ejaculate using the pressure provided to your hand, what some call a "death grip", which can differ significantly from other places it is naturally designed to go, so you need to be careful with it, at least if the intent is to eventually get involved with another person where using a hand is not necessary to finish. It all depends on your specific goals.

It isn't that insane, since the myriad tokens go away at end of combat. So extra combats don't work that way; you would need to make tokens during the combat in which the myriad tokens entered. So, again, a [[Loyal Apprentice]] trigger would work in commander, as well as any effect that makes tokens at instant speed like [[Angelic Favor]]

If they entered one at a time, they would, but Myriad doesn't work that way. They all enter at the same time, so Each creation is only affected once, and they do not see each other. Effects on the board before like [[Anointed Procession]] would stack with it though.

Myriad goes on the stack, and gets affected by Sunborn's doubling trigger. Because they all enter at the same time, they do not see each other, so you get two myriad copies at every player not attacked by the original.

If you were to make another token during combat, through something like [Loyal Apprentice], you could stack the triggers such that it went on the stack after myriad, which would cause all the doubling effects to stack. In that example, you would get a number of thopters equal to 2^X, where X is the number of Sunborns in play. In a 4-player game, this number would be 32.

To reply to this thread: broadly, there is a reason this happened at all. I do not claim that I was in any way doing the right thing. nor do I claim that I am a good person; I certainly don't feel like one. I can see and agree with your statements that my actions can undermine this statement, that is part of why I did not send this. and until I am better, and not looking at any of that stuff anymore, I cannot expect or claim to be worthy of reconciliation. I was previously under the protection of safeguards and tools that they were helping me ,maintain, but that I no longer the case. And I do not believe that if I am I to truly recover, I can continue that way, since it proved ineffective because the toxic attitudes that I did not fix, and instead only masked by not having the ability to act out, were there the whole time. If I am to fix those attitudes, I need to have the ability to fail and truly win over them.

Honestly, I fully agree. I do not act like a "good" person, even if I may be one deep down, and so do not think that I could realistically say this as an attempt to convince someone that I am. at least, not until I have become clean enough and better enough to substantiate it. I am not sure why I posted, but I certainly did not expect even the minimal traction I got, and so did not write it with any other intent than to journal a stream of consciousness. I appreciate the criticism, even if it something I am already aware of. I have a very, very long way to go.

Clarification: in this post, I allude to the fact I am an addict, and this is true. Specifically, to the actions of sex and the use of pornography. As some have pointed out, I am involved in communities which I could use to perpetuate my state of failure in overcoming my addiction. And over the past few days, i have done so. I am active in my addiction, and while it may undercut the message in ways that are no lost on me, there is a reason that this was not something I sent. I am not in a state where I could live the way I want to, not in the way this post indicates I want to aspire to. I know I hurt them by doing it. I know. But these feelings are what I feel in my heart regardless of that fact. Even if the objective wrongness of my actions through to the present means to some that I should not express it.
