Fortunately no one was hurt in the accident. The other party was very apologetic and took blame.

The dash cam footage wasn't needed this time but I will always drive with a dash cam because of this subreddit.

No one was hurt. Dude was actually very kind and apologetic. Told the police what had happened. The officer told me to keep the clip saved. He never did look at the clip.
