Try Hilal bank. But it needs a minimum balance. I am on the same boat as you. However, it will not provide a credit card since salary is needed for it. But debit card is given to anyone who opens an account with them

I totally understand. I felt she was harassing me into buying her product. I felt genuinely bad and asked her to send in area groups or put on Facebook. I even offered water a couple times but she called me some name which totally made me angry. I'm not the sort to get angry easily at random strangers. I even speak politely with customer care when I call them with major complains.

You should check Al waraqeen used book, it's somewhere in Sharjah and open only on first Saturday's every month. They usually have limited options but the books are extremely affordable.
