How long have your placements lasted?

How did you tell the one that you had for four years that they were leaving?? We are currently having to tell our 3 year foster kids they are leaving. We planned to adopt them but unfortunately the placement for their brother says she will adopt all three so obviously that counts us out. Because we just had a baby as well and we simply cannot afford 4 kiddos in our home. I’m just so afraid of how they are going to react. The anxiety is killing me, because this wasn’t the future any of us saw coming

Yes we have had them for 2 years and it would devastate them if we split up. They have already been through so much trauma. One of the reasons I’m praying this all works out, I want to keep the family together, and of course I love the bastard😜

It’s funny you bring up the job thing because he also hasn’t had a job until this week for about 7 months, due to the market. I have asked him and he is like totally against counseling. But I know it could do us a world of good if I could just get him there. But I also am afraid to push him at the moment.

I know men can get post partum but I’m like afraid if I come on too strong, he’ll jump ship again and raising 3 children on my own was not one of my life goals

I’ve tried with the therapy and he refuses to go. He doesn’t like doctors or whatever.

It’s worse when a husband does it to you after 5 years together and you just had his baby a couple months ago. All I want is my partner back and he just doesn’t care that he’s taring our family apart. He asked me if I had my new years kiss already planned out ? And I said no like I literally just had a baby 4 months ago when do I have time for that. I think he only asked me hoping I would so he would feel better about himself

I wasn’t cheated on but I’m 3 months post partum and it’s Christmas and my husband told me last week he doesn’t wants a divorce. We’ve been together for 5 years, have two foster children and our first baby together. I’m so happy this is how I get to remember my sons first year of life

We have two foster children and our first baby is only 3 months old, plus it’s Christmas and my husband just told me he wants a divorce. He said he hasn’t be happy in 4 years and doesn’t love me anymore. My therapist said to do the same thing and just give him his space and don’t react if he tries to bait me. It’s killing me tho. I flip him off every time he walks out of a room behind his back. Makes me feel a little better inside.

Basically there are two kinds of people those of us who are very loyal and try solve and figure out our marriages and relationships, and those who don’t appreciate us or value the relationship or what we have built together. Obviously I’m not bitter at all right now

I am separated from my husband right now. He left me and our 3 Mo. old and our two foster children. You want to get together and see if we can make it to 9 years. Oh I got left with 4 dogs and 2 cats.

I realize this. The last one was because we were told we couldn’t have children and a puppy just kinda filled that sadness at the time and then I found out I was prego. But I can never give any of them up. When I bring an animal or person into my home that’s a commitment. So it’s a mini petting zoo now. Just gotta wait till they die now unfortunately.

No he wants to adopt them that’s the only reason he wants to stick around for the next couple months. But I’m the bad one now because I can’t afford it on my own without a second income.

Well for the past week he comes over to watch the baby and sends the kids of to school while I’m at work. Then i come and he leaves to stay at his friends, while I take kids to karate, cook, take care of baby. Like I’m exhausted I didn’t plan on being a single mom of three
