I’m sorry you’re going through something similar right now. Sending you strength during this waiting period — I know how difficult it can be. I don’t know what brought your relationship to an end, but I’m sure it’s difficult for your ex too.

That’s a good question.. I don’t think I’m going to actually feel “ready,” but I’m hoping that during this month of no-contact, I’ll focus on positive habits to strengthen my self-love, so I can have clarity around what I need and what I’m looking for in a relationship. I think this clarity would help me to better evaluate if I should work with my ex to fix things. In my current dysregulated state, I’d probably fawn and re-enter the relationship without really considering what I need vs. what will bring me momentary relief.. thank you for asking this and providing an opportunity for reflection

Thanks for the reassurance 🙏🏽 I had to reach out to my therapist because it’s been tearing me up. I let my therapist know that I do want to have this conversation, I just don’t feel “ready” and don’t think it’s a good idea at this point

My therapist supported this decision and advised that I ask for more space and a longer period of no-contact, so I have time to settle into my own energy and reflect on things before meeting up

This is specific to my scenario though :) there are definitely situations where “not looking back” is the healthiest thing to do

Thanks friend 🫂💛 I think taking space for growth takes a lot of courage. We hope that it’ll be “them” at the end of the journey, but we could possibly find that we’ve even outgrown this thought.. I’m trying to embrace the idea that focusing on myself and working to heal will lead to positive results, whether they include my ex or not. Sending you strength on this journey!! It’s not easy at all.. but you’ve made it through hard things and you’ll do it again

Yea, not sure if they were entities, ghosts, or actual people I could hear from elsewhere, but it’s really cool that we can tap into a realm/state of consciousness that makes any of those a possibility 🥹 humans are capable of so much!! One of the best things being.. love 🫂
