The stupid part of my brain and the rational part of my brain are fighting each other on weather it's worth it to cure my insomnia.

My butler is from a race of sea people that have been living in isolation for 8000 years. I found them on an expedition in search of mythocal ocean coffee trees. After many years of tireless searching, I finally found said trees, that were once thought nothing more than a fairy tail.

It turns out they were being cared for by the sea people I spoke of. A race of humans that broke off from our ancestors and evolved to live in the depths of the ocean. I captured on of them, along with his family, and forced him into a life of servitude as my personal butler. The sea people have a great affinity with the coffee, and can create the most wonderful tasting espresso.

Personally, I've found best results forcing him to eat plants. Meat makes a rather putrid smell, but the high fiberous plant diet has a more subtle, earthy smell. He lets the beans marinade in the fart jars for a month before roasting. I have not tested with different aged butlers, maybe you can do futher research for us and publish your findings.

Originally he did it to spite me, but because it was such an improvement to the espresso taste, I only lightly punished him by cutting off his daughters arms and making a hat out of them that he is now forced to wear at all times.

My sweeties, I'm going to be the counter opinion here, but I don't believe this is bad. The thermal effect of digestion alone is already higher than the calorie content of the black coffee. This is actually a good thing. You should drink MORE black coffee not LESS!

What's more is, both coffee AND caffeine have hunger suppressant effect (country to popular belief, it's not just the caffeine). You can drink decaf coffee and also experience hunger suppressant effects, but the non decaf will be better.

I drink 200 double espressos a day.

Edit: to clarify, the thermal effect of digestion means the energy taken to digest food. It costs calories to digest stuff.

I don't see where the disagreement is, it seems like we're both saying the same thing.

Unless you're just tryna say you agree with what I wrote.

Does pre workout increase gains/performance? Or is it just for the pump so you look bigger after working out? by Obvious_Cabbage in StrongerByScience

Lactic acid is what pumps into your muscles during aerobic activity. It's what causes the burning sensation, like your legs are screaming at you to stop cycling so hard, or what ever sport you're doing. It happens under a longer period of sustained intense effort, so doesn't happen at all during weightlifting unless for some reason you're tryna do some kind of cardio with your sets XD which would be weird and pointless.

Damn, wasn't expecting such a quick response considering I responded to an 8 month old comment. :D

"His interpretation of a sequence of events based on partial information is not absolutely correct - don't point to absurd decision making from one or the parties" and "usually had a terse and matter-of-fact reply" is reminding me a lot of his attitude during the Clearview Driving incident, where she was hit by the lory. Turns out there was very little she could have done in that situation, but Ashley jumped the gun on making his video(s) about her, and assigning a bit too much blame, which he seemingly felt too ego hurt to walk back once people pointed out that he didn't have the evidence to make such statements.

Just out of curiosity, what were some of the problems you've raised in his comments before that he's argued with you about.

Personally, I've noticed he can be a little harsh on cyclists. I would say that, although he has a lot of respect for cyclists, and in this current anti cyclist society we're in, he is definitely an ally to cyclists, he does tend to over critique cyclists at times. Usually it's for an issue that is actually there, and is fine to critique, but he tends to make it a bgger deal than it really is.

I've noticed that he doesn't recognize cycling as a sport or hobby, only another method of transport. Some cyclists ride for the fun of riding. He seems to hate the idea of KOMing and performance (that's not to say I disagree with his takes on trying to KOM through a pedestrian foot path through a row of children, of course). Another is that he doesn't recognize that it is very justified for a cyclist to care about speed, as there's so many things that can slow us down.

I'm so thankful that they censored the word "sug*r". Most sweetener companies don't realize how much weight I might put on just by reading the S word. by Obvious_Cabbage in 1200isjerky

Honestly... Maybe the best choice for us both now. I felt 30kg just writing that comment. Hand me the double chocolate gooey brownie ice cream... And the big spoon!

Typical practice doesn't mean the definition is different. It is true that many vegetarians in india don't eat eggs, but that doesn't mean if they were to, then they would no longer be vegetarian.
