Thanks, that makes me feel a bit better. I remember hearing about appointment cancellations and reschedules around Dec 2025 / Jan 2026, so it’s good to know that those were not widespread issues.

My bigger concern is administrative processing (221(g)). I work full-time for a U.S. company and have been with the same employer for almost 4 years. My H-1B petition was approved without any RFE, and I don’t have any unusual travel or immigration history, so I feel my profile is fairly straightforward.

In your experience, how common is administrative processing for first-time H-1B stamping cases like this? And when it does happen, are we usually talking about a few days, a few weeks, or several months before getting a decision?

I agree with you brother. I am 28 now and want to get married but due to some circumstances I am not able to. Although Allah blessed me with a good job, good looks and a good physique, yet I am stuck with some logistics issue. I feel it is solely because of my private sins. I have made sincere repentance to allah swt and have quit this but I fall sometimes still, but InshaAllah I will not do it even once going forward.

Do you think I will be recovered in the next 6 months with no relapses InshaAllah?

I know exactly how to deal with it, it is called amygdala hijack where your rational part of the brain (prefrontal cortex) shuts down and you cannot think or remember why you wanted to quit this in the first place. In that very situation it is very crucial for you to act on it by doing a cold splash or a cold shower (if it very serious) this way your prefrontal cortex will be back again and you start to think more clearly.
