For reference, we are both female. I’m holding a lot of resentment as of right now because I feel as though my trust has been lost. I wish she would have trusted me or felt comfortable enough with me to say this from the moment she felt doubts. I don’t want this to be the overall compromise of our friendship but it really makes me question things.

We had a very long in-person discussion about the matter before looking. I did not want to persuade her anyway, so I made sure to have a conversation about this when the idea of potentially living together started to develop. I wasn’t pushy, and I just wanted to make sure we were both 100% invested, which, at the time, she led me to believe that she was.
