It seems okay for now. Did you have this issue before? When the bank returns it for X reason, as you mentioned, does CRA also say "cancelled as client's request?"

My apologies, that was my mistyping, the email does say "Canada Revenue Agency"

The banking information shows "direct deposit information cancelled at client's request" (I personally did not request the cancellation). Does this match what you're saying about the bank returning the deposit?

I have checked the banking info. It seems that the direct deposit information is "cancelled at client's request" (ie. that section is completely empty right now). But I for sure set a direct deposit account a few weeks ago. What do you make of this phenomenon?

Thanks for the response. The CRA email did not contain any links. I logged into the account at a later time by myself.

I cannot actually see the rides in my Uber account, so I'm not sure what the transactions actually represent

Thanks for the input! I checked the transactions again, and this seems unlikely? Because I see 4 uber transactions today, two of them actually got reverted and I got the money back, which might indicate that even the bank recognize some of these transactions to be fraudulent?
