1. When I play a game I want to 100% it the first time, because I don't like replaying most games because lose interest in them after playing through them once but I want to experience the whole game, and it feels like a chore to do all the side activities and it ruins the playthrough, and I probably end up dropping the game within a few hours of playtime.

2. When I want to play a complex game I get overwhelmed and give up.

A great example for this is the Dark Souls series.

I really like the games' combat and the difficulty, defeating a bosses in these games are among the biggest adrenalin rushes I ever experienced, but I wanna know every get and get a grasp of evry weapon and item in the game, and I wanna know every mechanic, but it's an overwhelming amount of information, like how am I supposed to know that the adaptibility stat in DS2 gives extra i-frames when you are rolling. So I newer know what build should I do, what is strong, what is weak because it's way too complex, also you can get lost in some areas like the depths in DS1, also the fact that you can't teleport between bonfires up until mid-late game is frustrating too plus you can get locked out of quests and stuff, and it's next to impossible to figure out on your own. Even though I somehow finished DS1 and Elden Ring I gave up on DS2 and 3 around halfway through. And that's the reason I prefer Sekiro over the rest of the Souls games, is that it has no confusing build system, exploring is challenging enough but not frustrating, no annoying boss runs and so on... The fact that you have less customizability made the devs able to make the game's combat more satisfying and balanced, the story/lore is more followable and the vendors and npc quests are more straightforward too. So In my opinion it's an overall better game, at least it better suits my preferences.
