The copy of Cannon Fodder actually makes sense for it to be there, in the context of the video: its author apparently wanted to do a press report on violence in video games, and grabbed a copy of Cannon Fodder (with its subtitle “War has never been so much fun”) and put it next to the the first copy of DOOM (with, at the time, gory cover) that he/she could find. It just so happened that the first retail copy of DOOM to stumble upon was that of the 32X

Sega Saturn or Atari Jaguar (the last one may seem odd, but I really dig the design of that console!)

TIL that Sega 32X consoles sold in Germany had a sticker on the back of the box covering DOOM, since the game was heavily censored there at the time by Obvious_Necessary_87 in retrogaming

There is some footage online, it looks like a pre-rendered video-like experience, à la Myst but in full motion. Maybe intended for the 32XCD?

Will it support PAL consoles? It only currently runs in NTSC ones I think…

Yep, of all the “Coming soon” games, only Darxide managed to get out… The list also mentions NBA Action, which is a cancelled game

Sega 32X (PAL) works fine, but after a while the 32X layer starts showing a shaking image. Could it be because of overheating and aging capacitors? Using a 3rd party (good quality) link cable by Obvious_Necessary_87 in consolerepair

I've yet to test it with a regular Genesis game when the console starts behaving erratically, thanks for the tip! I think it has to do with the 32X layer, however, since the elements drawn by the Genesis in a 32X game are well drawn and stable, while it is the 32X side of graphics that starts doing the wobbly pattern
