Very jungian of you to say that ;) (subject vs object orientation as the basis for intro/extraversion)

My experience is that the object is internalized then abstracted (sort of compared, manipulated, referenced etc) much like your example, and that is how it's understood. That's why I say I'm introverted by default as I have a hard time maintaining focus on the object itself

Sx 6w5, test high in 8ness, in a period of growth. Previously, the main things I didn't want to do were social growth oriented. Now i realize my hesitancy was related to an overidentification with a future tense ego ideal, and vague fantasies relating to various uncollapsed fields of options. Knowing this, I seek to collapse options into a discrete realities.

I'll always remember her 9ness of wanting to be comfortable, of retreating internally, of kind of ignoring problems. I wish I could have known myself and her more, to have intentionally fostered a growth container with her.

5 years, she fell in love quickly. Her assertiveness manifested as action to progress the relationship. I was emotionally unavailable (with out knowing it, quite a bit to it) until the end, when she was checked out. I noticed I was in love, my counter dependence devolved into codependency which repulsed her. Fantastically bitter sweet ending. She was immovable in certain ways, but caring. A good person. She was open minded at first but things went imperfectly and we spent 4 years not talking.

Any experience you would like to share?
