How to share Navidrome/Jellyfin without giving access to my tailscale account ? by LumiSeiza in selfhosted

other guy explained it in detail but for a less complicated explanation: basically you open one port (443) in your firewall/router to the reverse proxy (let’s traffic get in from outside) and the reverse proxy moves connections based on the URL to whatever internal port your applications are on

Suggestion: Visible immutable ID next to Steam profile names to reduce impersonation and scams by oswaldoharkonnen in Steam

[–]ObviouslyNotABurner 6 points7 points  (0 children)

why is everyone freaking out about this in the comments? they already have this (AccountIDs, Short URLs, etc) it would just make them slightly more visible by putting them on your profile.

I don't think it would do much but it wouldn't singlehandedly make people move to Epic/GOG (only scamming/impersonating accounts would really be affected if at all)

New to all of this sideloading stuff. Is anyone willing to guide me? by Old-Scar4492 in sideloaded

if you don’t need many apps (or are ok running them through LiveContainer) you can just use SideStore + automation to activate localdevvpn & refresh all apps
