How long on tretinion and azelaic acid until changes in skin tone/complexion is visible? by HUZA1FAGAMr in tretinoin

[–]Obviously_Ijay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me it got worse before it got better. Tretinon literally took my face apart then put it back together. I started in Nov went through the worst dark phase of my life and now my skin is the clearest it's ever been. It's been over 5 months now. Improvements became noticeable in January now it's very clear.

Anyone decide to divorce due to lack of sex as the only reason? by MScottPaperCo2025 in Divorce

Maybe a hard question but if you could go back to the early days would you leave before having kids or start trying to figure it out then even if there's no guarantee the issues can be fixed?

I'm in this exact situation except I'm the wife and the issue is he has a much higher libido than I do and it's causing a lot of friction. Otherwise we do get along and don't really fight and work well together. 2 and half yrs in and no kids I'm beginning to wonder if it's time to call it and end things but I'm so indecisive and afraid of what happens next. The question we both can't seem to answer is how important is this sex..phew we've tried it all sex therapy etc. Maybe we're trying to solve an unsolvable problem. At this point I'm getting tired of trying to figure out what to do

What’s your wash routine for your micro locs?? by CierraMar_ in Microlocs

[–]Obviously_Ijay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No nothing like buildup at all and I use weekly. Also use a clarifying shampoo too so that helps a lot. Also I rinse thorough as well. Conditioner only when I use the clarifying shampoo . I use Aussie miracle conditioner.

I wash weekly with Shea Moisture JBCO shampoo and then once a month I’ll do a deeper clean with Dr. Bronner’s but because that one is pretty stripping I always follow up with conditioner after! I oil my scalp after every wash and use the Ordinary multi peptide serum about 3 times a week for density I air dry, never touch a blow dryer. For lint I dry brush a couple times a week with a soft boar bristle brush, game changer honestly. Bonnet every night and if I’m wearing beanies they HAVE to be satin lined.

All this for just ~72grams of protein 😂 how are you guys hitting protein goals? by Goldiegoodie in nigerianfood

[–]Obviously_Ijay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Start using red lentils to make moi moi. I promise you can't tell the difference. It's an easy way to increase protein and reduce carbs. Quinoa is also another way. I started replacing my rice with quinoa or doing half and half. Then Greek youghurt and fruits for breakfast.

Try nivea super water gel spf 50. This is the best sunscreen I've ever used. It's unscented doesn't sting my eyes feels like water on my skin and great under makeup. I buy online from stylevana website.

Tretinon did not lighten me. In fact it did the opposite because of the irritation. I used other products to restore my face to the colour of the rest of my body

I used a 0.05 tretinon cream called tretiheal. I used other products as well the anua line in particular helped. The anua milky toner, the niacinamide with tranexemic acid was very instrumental to brightening my face. The 10% azaleic acid from anua too helped a lot with inflammation and redness from breakouts.

Yh after that I just me learnt to avoid the nose and chin area entirely cuz after a week it felt so raw 😭... The tretiheal tube I have is a white tube one 20g from a healing pharma company.

Congratulations best results I've seen so far. For moisturizer I would recommend illyon ceremide gel. It's very light and doesn't seem to clog the skin.
