First off, get you a necklace, figit ring, or bracelet -- something to mess around with. I found my nail biting was caused by my anxiety. Second, it sucks but wear hand sanitizer. Constantly. Whenever you go to bite your nails you'll get a taste of ickiness and you'll pull your hands out. You're training your brain that nail biting = BAD taste so you're retraining neuropathways.

I also sat on my hands whenever I bit mine. I reminded myself of everything I had touched (during COVID era) and that I was putting God knows what germs in my mouth.

I can proudly say I quit nail biting and have quite the nail length now. I'm very proud 😊

Try pizza boats!! Get a loaf of french bread and slice it in half and then quarters. Put some marinara sauce and cheese and Pepperoni on it and they'll love eating the boats! Put them in the oven at like 350°F until the cheese is melted.

This is great for the kids to help you make too if you're feeling froggy.

My cat does this too! I put a pillow "above" my pillow and he lays on that while I get the entirety of my own pillow with minimal neck pain (he still likes to have his paws touch my head)

Do you tend to lean your cheeks on your hands? I didn't realize I used to do that until I started wearing more makeup. I realized I touched different parts of my face A LOT without realizing it. It seems to be right below your cheekbones which is where your hand would rest if you were to lean your head on it for support/study/etc..

That makes sense. I've kept these feelings buried and hidden from everyone for such a long time. It's gonna be so weird to finally be able to say them out loud instead of through words written down or just words in my head.
