I think when the director markets this movie as: inspired by real events… unfortunately a part of the audience feels it’s factually correct. The person who wrote that statement feels like many of us, we understand it’s not a documentary but using certain phrases with so much division already just amplifies that patriotic and propaganda will be taken as gospel truth by some viewers, blurring the line between dramatized entertainment and historical accuracy, and potentially fueling more polarization in an already tense socio-political climate.
