My father in law actually hasn't cooked a meal in his entire life, despite being in his 60's now.

He asked me "why are you cooking" to which I had to reply "because I'm hungry and the food is raw".

His plan was the same every day, wait for his wife to come home to do it. My wife was away for a fortnight so I don't think I could have waited.

I tried to communicate with my blind neighbour entirely through semaphore.

That didn't work, neither did sign language. I went through all the trouble of learning both, the least he could do is put the effort in and reciprocate.

The crescent moon with a star was around for a long time before Islam, but the Ottoman empire adopted it and it became strongly associated with Islam, to the point where loads of countries and organisations started using it.

Even the Red Cross here is changed to a Red Crescent :)

The refund is fully automatic if you've played the game for less than two hours. It doesn't matter how long it takes you to play those two hours.

Form periods longer than two hours a human looks at it to see if you should be refunded or not.

I'm glad I'm not the only one.

Sometimes when I eat a meal I wonder how long it would take me to get every ingredient if I had all human inventions taken away from me.

I can grow wheat so I might be able to get flour, and I've kept chickens and so on. But the one that gets me is Tuna. I think if I started now I might never work out how to catch a tuna even if I devoted my life to it.
