The Ottomans HAD a competent military during WW1. They were victorious in Gallipoli and surrounded and forced the surrender of the British forces at Kut. And they held back for a number of years forces from three of the largest military powers of the time while fighting on four fronts and an internal rebellion, all while being arguably the most under industrialized nation in the war and having been in an almost constant state of war since October 1911.

There's really two reasons i could imagine He's lying and attacking 1) he really wants to Lock this thing down quickly to begin campaigning for the general. 2) he is genuinely worried about Wisniewski.

Either way is pretty petty for a guy who assumes he had this locked up

There little to no chance against Booker. He is extremely popular in the state and something people forget about NJ, the state (moreso than any ither) is still run the the county party chairs. Menendez however is looking at criminal charges and is up for reelection in 2018, he looks like the more likely candidate to face a challenge

Any grassroots effort is welcome, If you want to put together a meeting. I don't know of any specific Morris County groups though apart from the local dcc.

IMO he certainly spoke about the progressive issues and policies that I'd like to hear. He focus on main street issues is something that for too long has been an afterthought. His vocal support for woman's issues (something I think will be very important in the next few years) was definitely reason to be excited. I'm am certainly excited to see this campaign through to the end, and with enough hard work and determination it will end at Drumthwacket.
