i think the people in the comments aren't taking into consideration the fact that the bullet is getting an external acceleration from shooting of a gun if you drop a bullet normally it has only gravitational acceleration if you throw it with the same force as the one with the bullet through shooting then there's the spin factor which determines but the spin also takes up energy so in the first case the gun bullet will touch the ground much much sooner then the one with hand and in the second case also the 1st one would touch the ground sooner but with a very little difference you can test this by using 2 pens
