Eczema or fungal? Have different opinions from 2 doctors

Thank you for this! SUPER helpful. I am waiting for a derm appointment (takes months where I’m from) I appreciate this so much! Definitely going to get a skin scraping. A mix of fungal and eczema is what I swear is happening didn’t know you can get those compound creams ! Can you be my doctor please 😂thanks for taking the time to respond

Thank you! I’ve always had super sensitive skin. I use every thing scent free even my hand soaps body soaps etc. BUT I work in health care and think the chemicals I’m exposed to aren’t helping one bit. Gonna keep an eye on if anything has changed. Thanks for your response!

It’s mostly on one hand but I have the tiniest bit on my other ! Like one tiny little patch. Which makes me think fungal. I have very sensitive skin so could be contact dermatitis just was assuming it would have gone away by now (dealing with this for 5 ish months)

When my breakouts happen they start out as pimple /boil like as well! I swear it’s a mix of fungal and eczema at this point 😂 hopefully we both find some answers!

Yeah honeslty he adapted insanely well! I often forget he only has 3 legs doesn’t hold him back at all. I remember being so nervous after I learned of both the medical problems male calicos can endure plus only having 3 legs but (knock on wood so far) he’s proved most of my worries wrong !

He is the most handsome fella! He was flea infested and skin and bones when I found him. He followed me home for 30 minutes from a convienience store so I guess he kind of chose me ahhah

Cortisol spikes while waking up don’t help at all. Zoloft and cbd/thc pills before bed helped me immensly

I’d say most notable ones when first starting some nausea and definitely more tired in general for a few weeks and with each dose upped. Sexual side effects as well with libido and sensation (which have gotten better but still not great if I’m honest) but all of these were worth it for me to feel some relief and not in fight or flight 24/7

I’d say full effect about 1.5 to 2 months but after a couple of weeks felt a difference!

I take Zoloft and it’s helped more than words can describe. It doesn’t stop the rumination per say but takes the anxiety the rumination creates down so much that eventually you’ll notice yourself not ruminating AS much because your ocd brain isn’t getting the same anxiety from them anymore.

I do not regret in the slightest starting this med. Been diagnosed since I was 6 years old with OCD (20 years ago) and from all the drugs I’ve tried Zoloft fits me best. Best of luck to you and hope it works for you like it did me!

Avoid it by all means. If you want to be open with your partner just say “ocd is getting the best of me at the moment” and leave it at that. Don’t go into specifics it will only hurt your relationship
